![]() I have the nerve to say it! Why else would we shut the beep up and shake hands with Musharaff when he attacked our parliament in 2001 and is daily infiltrating our borders and killing our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. When was the last time you sipped a plastic bag of mineral water and threw the sachet somewhere you did not even care to look where? I'm afraid most of us can’t even remember that since it’s an accepted habit. I see everybody complaining about how dirty the place and the roads are but still people sweep their houses clean and throw the filth out in the middle of the road. So how does one celebrate with all of these double standards? That is why im not celebrating. We want to study about "Unity in Diversity" on our 6th grade school books but give shitty excuses when we want to implement them. ![]() Have we liberated our women? No! We still ridicule her if she wears a jean and t-shirts while secretly admiring what great an ass and boobs she has. ![]() Apart from the Indian Army i find there is no worth while organization or sect of people whom are worthy of being proud of. I want people to know im not celebrating. It’s about giving the assurance that the possibility of a better tomorrow for the man who sleeps on the pavement, the one who pays his taxes and the one who spends that money. Independence is not just about having home rule. ![]() How independent are we today? I guess not a wee bit. I did not have the mood, the energy nor do i find a point in celebrating. Well, it may sound really funny but i literally gave up today.
